Winter White

Hello!

Yesterday was a beautiful day in California! It's the perfect weather to go out and take a hike, or go on a long jog. I thought i'd share today a beautiful white outfit. Who say's you can't wear white after Labor Day? I say its ok because, white is one of those classic colors that never goes out of style and with spring right around the corner it's a gorgeous color for those brisk spring days.

Here's the links to the things that I wore.

Inspiration Books

Welcome to a whole new year! I feel like 2017 is definitely going to be the year for new and exciting things. I know everyone has their resolutions for the year and may have already started them, or if your like me, your a little late to the game. The beginning of January I had family in town and then we left to go down to LA for the Star Wars Half Marathon Run. If anyone wants me to do a post on that let me know in the comments below or give this post a like and i'll go ahead and share some pictures and what I thought about the run. As for this post I thought I'd share what i'm reading for the month in my book club. I'm also including a couple of extra books for the year that I plan on reading through out the year. This month's book many of you may be very familiar with or have never heard of it. It's "the life-changing magic of tidying up", by marie kondo. So far I've really been enjoying the book, it's brought out somethings that I never really thought about before. Defiantly has me going through my stuff right now and asking myself "does this really bring me joy" totally funny right? But if you think about it Marie really hit the nail on the head with this book and I think it's the perfect way to start the brand new year off! What better way to declutter your old life and bring in the new one. The new you is really about to begin. There was a quote in the book that I loved and really help motivate me to get rid of things that I have been holding on to way to long, "The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past." I love that quote and will stick with me forever. For the four other books I chose to mention in the post are called 1) milk and honey by rupi kaur 2) 52 lists for happiness by Moorea Seal, 3) The little big book of Hygge Danish secrets to happy living. I'm really excited for this book I personally think it will be an interesting read. And lastly my personal favorite is Daily Love 365 days of celebration. It gives you a gorgeous photo and a quote for that day. I'll  give you guys a taste and read todays quote. Feb. 8, 2017 "let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.- Marcel Proust"

Well I hope you guys enjoy this post and ill give you an update on each book throughout the year, i'm really excited for this new journey on a new year. I know we all say that but it's my goal to actually fulfill that goal this year.

Rachel Zoe Box Of Style!

         Good morning everyone!

Today is a very special day, its December 24th which means we are 6 days away from the new year! How exciting is that? I know I am ready for a brand new year of exciting adventures to come. Today though I thought I would share what was in the Winter Style box. This was my first box from The Zoe Report and I am so beyond excited to share it with you. Lets start off with saying that the box itself was absolutely gorgeous. Its the sleek "winter white" color and when you open it, it says hello gorgeous. Everything is beautifully wrapped in silver tissue paper. The first item in the box was this gorgeous Statement necklace that could be used for ANY outfit. It's the brand Dylanlex and was custom made for this box specifically.
Retail value $200
Next that came in the box was a gorgeous Berry shade lipstick from Clinique. I personally love this shade because you can wear in the day time for a soft berry stained look and then you can vamp it up at night and go a little bit darker. Love it, perfect winter shade. Its in the shade 15 berry pop.
Retail value $18.50

I went back into the box to grab the next thing which was so adorable. It was a spotlight product which means it was sponsored by Juicy Couture and was a little extra special gift. It's Juicy's best selling product and its a small bottle of Viva La Juicy. Smells so lovely and perfect for those winter months and perfect to take with you on your trip

There was this gorgeous little leather card holder which I think is perfect. It's so tiny but can hold all your important cards in a clutch which is perfect for all of those parties you'll be going to this winter season. The little leather card case is by the brand Dagne Dover. It's in a gorgeous navy color that is also perfect for your fall/ winter season.

Retail value $50

What way to start the winter season with some gorgeous candles. In this box it came with this amazing scented candle. It's a D.L.&Co. candle that was custom made for this style box. The scent is Birch which smells absolutely lovely for winter. Smells as if you were up in the woods with the snow coming down. The glass jar it's in is so sleek and classy in all black with gold lettering. Perfect for a cozy winter night in.
Retail value $50
A gorgeous Soia & Kyo cable knit hat was gorgeous! I got the white hat, when you purchase the box you get a choice between 3 color choices, which are white, navy, and a wine burgundy color. I was particularly excited for this hat because we go up to the snow for cabin trips and this little cable knit hat will be absolutely perfect.

Retail value $50

And the last product that came in this winter box was my favorite brand, Sunday Riley. She included the Tidal Enzyme Brightening Water Cream. This product is a must for the winter months. It gives you the extra moisture your skin needs. I love wearing it under my makeup so it gives my skin a dewy  look but also keeping my skin hydrated. Definitely a must for winter.
Retail value $65
Ok! And that was a wrap that was everything included in this seasons winter box of the Style Report. After looking and loving everything I think it's safe to say that I loved this box and can't wait to receive the spring season box. I think for the price you can't beat this, considering the price of the individual products. I'll link below the website so you can check it out and subscribe if you would like. Thanks for reading and can't wait for next year. Make sure to subscribe to this blog because, I've been working on some amazing posts for next year 2017!

Beach Packing List

Hello Everyone!
Summer is fast approaching us! It's already June 3rd and I could't be more excited about this years summer! It's definitely the best time to go on vacations. Me personally i'm headed to Hawaii for 10 days and couldn't be happier! Most of the time though most people tend to get freaked out and don't know what to pack! For instance some of my family members get completely freaked out about leaving on a trip, what i've usually do is help them out by making a packing list. With that I thought I would go ahead and share the packing list I give my family and friends. If anyone wants packing lists for other types of vacations I would be willing to make on for you guys. Also if you would like to see one that has outfit options through your trip I can do that as well. Hope everyones summer is going well and can't wait to see where everyone is going.

Tatcha Skincare Review

Hello everyone! Hope everybody is doing well, today I'm reviewing the Japanese skincare product Tatcha. I know some of you have heard of it and there are some of you who haven't. Tatcha skincare was created by the beautiful Victoria Tsai. She traveled to Kyoto and discovered a whole new world of beauty and some heritage behind the geisha's. She learned techniques from the modern day geisha and she took that knowledge and came home and created an wonderful new beauty product that is gentle, safe and has very effective results.
I thought i'd try these products due to my skin was just looking dull, red and irritated due to the harsh acne topical's on my skin. I needed a new skincare routine and quick. I went online and quickly ordered the one step Camellia cleansing oil, and the Indigo soothing rice enzyme powder. I quickly fell in love with these two products. It was as if it were a match made in heaven. Just after a week of using just these two products I noticed a huge difference in my skin. It was no longer red, itchy, dull looking my breakouts started to calm down drastically. The indigo rice enzyme was already made for sensitive skin and it doesn't contain papaya enzyme in it which i'm allergic too so that was a huge plus for me. I loved how the cleansing oil took off a complete full face of make up and didn't have to go back for my make up remover or my exfoliating wipes. It did the job in just two pumps of the oil. Not only was the oil good for taking your make up off it was also a pre cleanse for your skin before you went in with the actual cleanser which is the rice powder.

I'm very happy to say after using it for the whole month of August I have seen major results and I am finally confident enough to walk outside without any make up one which is a huge accomplishment for me. I hope this review was helpful and encourages you to go out and try Tatcha. If you try it or have used it before please don't hesitate to comment below or send me an email of what you think. Be sure to tag me on Instagram or Facebook of you using it.

January Favorites

Hello lovies!
I can't believe its almost the end of January! So many exciting things have happened this month. My birthday, traveling and some of my new beauty favorites that I'm gonna share with you. Also this month was a great time to set some new goals for the year. I know I set mine pretty high this year and hope to obtain as many as I can. I'd love to hear from you guys what some of your New Years resolutions were.

As for my beauty favorites, I have to say my favorite new face wash is of course from across the world in New Zealand. Its called manuka honey and its like washing your face with a marshmallow. Its so foamy and smells like yummy honey, and not to mention its super good for your skin. Next was my Argon oil balm, its in a metal tin in a solid form, but when you take some of the oil and work it into your hands it starts to turn into a liquid and penetrates into your skin quickly and makes your skin soft and glowing. My favorite fragrance this month as you can tell in the picture was wore everyday, it was my prada candy. I love this perfume so much, it smells similar to pink sugar but a little bit muskier which i really liked.

Next this month I have rekindled my love for the yes to beauty wipes, you can get them at target. This month I tried the blueberry anti aging ones. I really enjoyed them, they smelled good and I did notice a small change in my skin. I also got a sample from Sephora of the dry bars Texas Tea volumemizing Shampoo and conditioner. I fell in love with the product that after I was done with the sample I immediately went out and bought the product. So thanks Sephora for the recommendation.

Well that's it for this months favorites. I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions please comment or email me your comments or questions.

xoxo Dani
